MHCD Employees win pay increases!
Membership ratifies Wage Re-opener Agreement with Management,
New Raises Go Into Effect January 1
Union members approved the tentative agreement with a 98% yes vote. Our bargaining committee supervised voting at various sites the last week of November and votes were tallied on Friday November 30th.
As a result, the Tentative Agreement reached between Local 105 and MHCD management is no longer tentative. Raises will go into effect January 1, 2008.

The SEIU-UHW West and Joint Employer Education Fund is a Labor/Management Education Fund, providing educational and training opportunities benefiting about 60,000 healthcare professionals who are SEIU members across California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington. Programs include:

About the Health Care Division
SEIU Local 105 represents about 2,000 health care employees, including more than 1,600 employees at Kaiser Permanente and more than 300 employees at the Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD). Plus registered nurses all across Colorado are joining the SEIU Nurse Alliance of Colorado.
