On September 24th, 2005, SEIU members who work at Kaiser voted overwhelmingly to approve a new 5-year contract with Kaiser. SEIU Local 105 President Mitch Ackerman hailed the new contract as a victory for both workers and patients. “Economic security is key to ensuring the best quality workforce,” Ackerman said.
