Denver Airport Employees (AMPCO)
Won a 12% pay raise over four years with improved fully employer-paid health care for themselves and affordable health care for families.
Kaiser Permanente Employees
SEIU members at Kaiser have won the best wage and benefit package in the health care field, including raises of 5% in 2006, 4% in 2007, and 4% in 2008, fully employer-paid family health care, and improved pension with retiree medical benefits and a strong voice on the job througn an innovative union-management partnership.
MHCD Employees
Workers at the Mental Health Center of Denver recently won across-the-board raises of 4.1% plus a 1% bonus. In July of 2006, targeted job classifications at MHCD that were behind market received additional salary increases up to 13.3%
Protecting Secure Retirement
In 2006, SEIU initiated a coalition that worked in the Legislature and with the media to stop legislation and a ballot initiative that would have turned the Colorado PERA retirement fund over to political appointees and eliminated secure retirement for public employees.
Funding for Public Services
SEIU members played a major roll in passing Referendum C that ensured that there would be billions more dollars available for public services at the state and local level over the next five years.
