Amendment 87

SÍ

SEIU’s position is that working people should not pay the same tax rate as millionaires and giant corporations. Amendment 87 would cut taxes for 97% of Coloradans while asking the wealthiest households and largest corporations to pay their fair share. The additional revenue would be dedicated to K–12 schools, health care, and child care—the essential services working families rely on.

Proposition NN

SÍ

SEIU supports strong, well-funded public schools for working families and communities. Proposition NN would allow Colorado to retain more revenue for education, increasing the resources available to support students, schools, educators, and the workers who keep our public education system running.

Proposition 136

NO

SEIU opposes locking Colorado into a tax structure that makes it harder to ask millionaires and large corporations to pay their fair share. Proposition 136 would limit the state’s ability to adopt a fairer tax system and could override the Graduated Income Tax measure if both pass and Proposition 136 receives more votes.

Proposition 132

NO

SEIU believes working families affected by addiction need effective prevention, treatment, and recovery resources. Proposition 132 would significantly increase prison sentences for fentanyl possession, could contribute to prison overcrowding, and does not address the underlying challenges of substance use and addiction.

Amendment 81

NO

Immigrant workers are an important part of our unions, workplaces, and communities. Amendment 81 would permanently amend the Colorado Constitution and override current state laws that limit state and local involvement in federal immigration enforcement, creating additional risks and uncertainty for immigrant workers and their families.

Proposition 134

NO

SEIU supports dignity and fairness for all students, regardless of sex or gender. Proposition 134 would create new statewide rules for school sports based on biological sex, while leaving important questions about how sex would be determined and how those rules would be implemented by school districts.

Proposition 135

NO

SEIU believes families should be able to make personal health care decisions in consultation with qualified medical professionals. Proposition 135 would create a statewide prohibition on certain surgeries for people under 18 related to sex or gender, limiting the ability of families and health care providers to make those decisions based on individual circumstances.
