This contract\u00a0 brings significant improvements for all members, with wins in wages, benefits, and new provisions for staff. The lump sum shall be paid out the same pay period the successor CBA wages are implemented.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Conversational Language Differential Pay:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><p>With a <strong>$1.25\/hou<\/strong>r differential for conversational language skills, employees will have to take a test starting May 1st, 2025.<\/p><\/li><li><p>After passing the Alta Bilingual Medical Assessment, the differential increases to <strong>$2.25\/hour.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p>If the test is not passed, employees will have three months to retake it.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Additional Contract Wins:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Extended Shift Pay:<\/strong> Beginning February 1st, 2025, employees who work more than 30 minutes past their scheduled shift will earn 1.25x their hourly wage for any additional time worked.<\/li><li><strong>Juneteenth:<\/strong> The Juneteenth holiday has been added to the official holiday schedule.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>And more!
