We could tell Kaiser executives are getting the message, but they still haven\u2019t committed to backing away from cuts in our next contract\u2026<\/p>\n<p><b>WHAT KAISER WANTS:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Cuts to Our Jobs, Wages and Benefits.<i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Kaiser want us to agree to a contract like the one they\u2019ve gotten from other Kaiser workers \u2014 a contract with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<b>lowest raises in decades<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Cuts to our benefits<\/b>, including doubling our healthcare copays and coming after our retirement benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Continued\u00a0<b>outsourcing and automation<\/b>\u00a0of our jobs.<\/li>\n<li>A \u201cPartnership\u201d where Kaiser has all the power and we\u2019re expected to quietly fall in line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WHAT WE WANT<\/b><b>:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Our FAIR Share.<i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Kaiser made record profits of $3.2 billion in just the first three months of this year and gave its CEO a 60% raise to $16 million a year. We should win our fair share of Kaiser\u2019s success in our next contract: Strong raises, no changes to any of our benefits, and no more outsourcing of our jobs.<\/p>\n<p><b>A REAL Partnership.<i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>We\u2019re in this fight for more than just ourselves. We\u2019re calling on Kaiser to join with us in tackling the biggest challenges facing patients and the whole healthcare industry. That means working in true Partnership with us to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure every patient gets first-rate, affordable care at Kaiser.<\/li>\n<li>Build the workforce of the future by creating educational and training pathways for us to get better jobs at Kaiser \u2014 and for our loved ones to get great healthcare jobs too.<\/li>\n<li>Use automation and technology smartly so Kaiser doesn\u2019t lose the human touch and compassionate care that has always made us so strong.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WHAT\u2019S NEXT<\/b><b>:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Keep up the FIGHT.<i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Clearly, we\u2019re far apart from Kaiser on key issues \u2014 and until Kaiser commits to a different path forward, we need to stay active.\u00a0<b>Prepare to purple up, sticker up, and take action in\u00a0the coming weeks to send Kaiser a clear message:\u00a0<\/b><b>We Are ALL IN to Win<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No matter who you are, the work you do, or where you come from, Coloradans are\u00a0rising\u00a0in the\u00a0fight\u00a0for better\u00a0lives.
