They illegally refused to bargain with us. Then, they completed all scheduled negotiations without ever giving us a written economic proposal. Now, they expect us to bargain over email and telephone calls!\u00a0 Yes, you heard that right.<\/p>\n<h2><b>The Latest Insult<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><i>Late Friday evening<\/i>, Kaiser emailed a &#8220;new&#8221; offer to the Coalition and expected a small group of us to bargain with them over it\u00a0<i>by telephone<\/i>\u00a0today (Monday)!\u00a0 The &#8220;new&#8221; offer is worse than the previous ones in several areas.<\/p>\n<p><i><strong>They have also now confirmed in writing that they expect SEIU 105 members to accept a 1% raise in 2019 and are treating CO like 3rd class citizens of KP!\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nvlupin.blob.core.windows.net\/images\/van\/AV\/AVSEI\/1\/17875\/images\/CKPU%20response%20to%20Kaiser%207_28.pdf\"><strong><i>Click here to read the coalition response.\u00a0<\/i><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Management&#8217;s latest &#8220;proposal&#8221; <strong>is a slap in the face to all of us. <\/strong>They now confirmed in writing they expect us to accept a 1% raise, cuts to our benefits and to sell out new employees. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>It&#8217;s even worse in some areas than what they agreed to with the local Alliance unions! <\/strong>We deserve better.\u00a0 Enough is enough.
