Among their tasks were re-writing our mission statement; reviewing\u00a0our leadership structure\u00a0including our steward\u00a0structure; and\u00a0re-writing our organizational by-laws. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We are happy to annouce that on November 13-14, 2013, the ULOC finalized their work and we are now ready to present the proposed by-laws for adoption by election to the Local 105 membership.<\/p>\n<p>We believe we have made significant strides in building a stronger union by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expanding the rank and file voice of our membership on our Executive Board by adding a member Vice-President for Healthcare and a member Vice-President for Property Services <i>y<\/i> expanding the number of Executive Board positions;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening the democracy, transparency, and accountability within our union;<\/li>\n<li>Establishing a clear vision of unity and purpose of our union.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Bylaws Vote will be on <strong>Saturday, December 7<sup>th<\/sup> from 11-2pm at our Union Hall, 2525 West Alameda Avenue, Denver, CO 80219<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PROPOSED BYLAWS in PDF: Proposed Bylaws 2013 CAMBIOS PROPUESTOS A LA CONSTITUCION Y ESTATUTOS: SINDICATO INTERNACIONAL DE TRABAJADORES DE SERVICIOS Cambios Indicados 12-5-2013 The Union Leadership Organizing Committee (ULOC) has been meeting for the past year, working with facilitators and our Trustees to re-organize and re-energize our Local.
