BOULDER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS NEED TO HEAR FROM FRONT LINE WORKERS!
Join fellow union members on August 12th and use your voice to support Boulder County’s health and substance use sales tax ballot initiative.
As frontline staff who work with unhoused and people experiencing crisis every day, we know first hand how important access to resources is for improving peoples lives. We do this work every day and this proposed ballot measure is a step towards real and sustainable change in our communities.
The County is proposing a sales and use tax of 0.15% for the purposes of unmet needs of youth, adults, families, unhoused individuals, and older adults in Boulder County with or at risk of mental health and substance use disorders by providing mental health crisis services; suicide prevention and intervention; mental health and substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery; treatment services for unhoused individuals; and assistance finding appropriate services through community-based organizations and other options.
By standing united, we can show our community and elected officials our commitment to creating long lasting and sustainable change in Boulder!
