KP Update: Majority of Colorado Ready to Strike

Despite efforts by Kaiser executives to divide and confuse us over the past week, Colorado KP members are showing they’re united and ready to strike if necessary.

By Friday, a majority – over 50% – of SEIU Local 105 Kaiser members have signed the pledge to strike!

We have to keep up the momentum. Contact your stewards or organizers about signing the strike pledge today!

When Kaiser tried to bargain over email and phone call on July 26th – the coalition of unions representing 85,000 workers made it clear we are ready for real, in-person negotiations.

The response from Kaiser management since our coalition response was sent last week???? Crickets.

Q: Can I be fired for going on strike?

A: No. Employees have a right to strike under the National Labor Relations Act and you cannot be fired for going on strike.  This right applies to all employees, including probationary employees, part-time, full-time, etc.
