NEXT MEETING:

NEXT STEWARD COUNCIL MEETING

Tuesday, July 23rd, 8AM-12PM

2525 W Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80219

NOTE: ALL Steward Council’s going forward will be IN-PERSON unless there’s inclement weather.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

What would you like to see on the next Steward Council Agenda? Do you have any suggestions for topics to discuss?

Are there any important updates from your departments that you would like to hear reported back at the next Steward Council?

MONTHLY STEWARD HIGHLIGHT

How do you as a steward facilitate solidarity within your union or how would you like to see solidarity within your union?

I try to be inclusive for all members working in my area by communicating as much as possible.  If actions or anything is coming  I will send emails to the entire membership in my department, as well as connect on team huddles across all the different teams.  I try to educate members on what the union stands for and the benefits that we have fought for, so that they can become more invested in standing up for SEIU.

I would really like to see more member involvement in actions and support for the entire union as the other areas of the union support our causes so much!  So many members are disinterested in the “union” and I believe we need unity to be a strong union!

STEWARD TO STEWARD TRAININGS

We are continuing to hold a series of Internal to External Steward trainings, as well! These are incredibly important to grow our union, so please use the button below to sign up if you’re interested!

EXTERNAL CAMPAIGN SUPPORT

We’re always trying to grow our union to become even stronger! At the moment, we have several organizing campaigns that could use some support from those who know our movement best: union members and stewards! If you’re interested in helping out on any of these campaigns and growing our union power, please use the button below to sign up!
