SBM Route Re-Bid Information
Be Ready. Be On Time. Protect Your Seniority.
The upcoming route re-bid is your opportunity to select the route you will work for the next 12 months. Every member is responsible for participating in the bidding process and making their own route selections.
Re-Bid Schedule
Concourse A
- July 16 & July 17
- 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Concourse B
- July 20 & July 21
- 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Review the posted bid schedule in your concourse to find your individual appointment time.
Before Your Appointment
- Review the posted bid schedule for your appointment time (posted in Concourses A and B).
- Come prepared with at least 10 route choices in order of preference.
- Each appointment has been extended to 10 minutes to allow additional time for route selection.
If You Miss Your Appointment
- You will have a 5-minute grace period after your scheduled appointment time.
- If you have not arrived or called in within those five minutes, bidding will move to the next employee, and you will be moved to the bottom of the bidding list.
- BE SURE TO NOT MISS YOUR APPOINTMENT! The later you participate, the fewer routes may be available!
Phone Bidding
- If you are participating by phone, you are still responsible for being available at your scheduled appointment time.
- After you make your selection, the Union steward or representative present will sign the bid sheet on your behalf to confirm your route selection.
On Leave or Out of the Country
- Employees who are on FMLA, another leave of absence, or out of the country are still responsible for participating in the bid process. The company has provided communication regarding appointment times and phone participation.
We Will Be There
A Union steward will be present throughout the bidding process to ensure the process is conducted fairly and according to the contract.
Once a route is selected, the bid sheet will be signed by:
- The employee (or the Union steward for phone participants)
- An SBM representative
- The Union steward or representative present
If questions arise regarding seniority, the Union will work to resolve them. The bidding process will continue while those issues are addressed.

La próxima reasignación de rutas es tu oportunidad para seleccionar la ruta que trabajarás durante los próximos 12 meses. Cada miembro es responsable de participar en el proceso de selección y de elegir sus propias rutas.

Vestíbulo A (Concourse A)
- 16 y 17 de julio
- 7:00 a. m. – 8:00 p. m.
Vestíbulo B (Concourse B)
- 20 y 21 de julio
- 7:00 a. m. – 8:00 p. m.
Consulta el calendario de asignaciones publicado en tu vestíbulo para conocer la hora de tu cita.
Antes de tu Cita
- Revisa el calendario publicado para conocer la hora de tu cita (publicado en los Vestíbulos A y B).
- Llega preparado con al menos 10 opciones de rutas, en orden de preferencia.
- Cada cita se ha extendido a 10 minutos para dar más tiempo a la selección de rutas.
Si Pierdes tu Cita
- Tendrás un período de gracia de 5 minutos después de la hora programada de tu cita.
- Si no te presentas o no llamas dentro de esos cinco minutos, el proceso de selección continuará con el siguiente empleado y serás movido al final de la lista de selección.
- ¡ASEGÚRATE DE NO PERDER TU CITA! Mientras más tarde participes, ¡menos rutas estarán disponibles para elegir!
Selección por Teléfono
- Si participarás por teléfono, sigue siendo tu responsabilidad estar disponible a la hora programada para tu cita.
- Después de hacer tu selección, el delegado sindical o representante sindical presente firmará la hoja de selección en tu nombre para confirmar la ruta que elegiste.
Si Estás en FMLA, en Otro Tipo de Licencia o Fuera del País
- Los empleados que estén bajo FMLA, otra licencia de ausencia o fuera del país siguen siendo responsables de participar en el proceso de selección. La empresa ya ha enviado la información correspondiente sobre los horarios de las citas y la participación por teléfono.
Nosotros Estaremos Allí
Un delegado sindical estará presente durante todo el proceso de selección para asegurar que se lleve a cabo de manera justa y de acuerdo con el contrato.
Una vez que se seleccione una ruta, la hoja de selección será firmada por:
- El empleado (o el delegado sindical en nombre de quienes participen por teléfono).
- Un representante de SBM.
- El delegado sindical o representante sindical presente.
Si surge alguna pregunta relacionada con la antigüedad, el Sindicato trabajará para resolverla. El proceso de selección continuará mientras esos asuntos se atienden.
