SEIU 105 is one of the fastest-growing unions in Colorado, growing by over 50% over the last five years, representing over 8,000 healthcare, janitorial, security, and airport workers throughout the state and the southwest.
Founded in 1939, we are united by the belief in the dignity and worth of workers and the services they provide and dedicated to improving the lives of workers and their families and creating a more just and humane society.

Our 2 million members in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico include:
Health Care
hospital, mental health, behavioral health, nursing home, clinic, and home care workers
Public Employees
federal, state, county municipal and school employees
Property Service
janitors, security officers, and elevator operators
Industrial and Allied
laundries, light industrial and manufacturing
Members of SEIU work as nurses, doctors, social service workers, mental health workers, behavioral health professionals, caregivers, building cleaners, police and security officers, librarians, head start employees, maintenance workers, lab technicians, nurse assistants, and more.
SEIU represents a diverse membership. A majority of the members are women. Some 20 percent are African American. SEIU represents more immigrant workers than any other union in the U.S.
