This weekend, Local 105 will be honoring the past, celebrating the present, and embracing the future at Denver’s annual Juneteenth Festival! This is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and share in the spirit of Juneteenth with you fellow union members with a weekend full of music, food, and fun!
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States and Denver’s Juneteenth Festival is one of the biggest in the entire country attracting more than 70,000 people.
We are excited to bring our SEIU Family together to rejoice in the rich history, culture, and achievements of the African American community. Join us on Saturday as we march together in unity at the Juneteenth Parade or stop by Sunday to stand united with your fellow union members at our booth.
