💜VICTORY! 3% Raises in October

BIG NEWS! It’s official; Kaiser Permanente has made their profit margin in Colorado for this year. What does that mean for healthcare workers?

The 1% lump sum will convert to an additional 1% raise meaning, KP members in Colorado will be receiving a 3% across the board wage increase this October!

Our resolve in reaching this goal during these difficult times means our October raises will match those received by KP members in California for the second year in a row.

“Congratulations to all my Local 105 colleagues for hitting the mark to receive our 3% across the board increases this October 2020. It’s been an uphill struggle for the last two years from Kaiser losing money to National Bargaining, to all the Transformation work, and through it all we persevered. We Rock!” – E’Shal “Shelly” Fowlkes, Secretary-Treasurer, SEIU Local 105

During negotiations last year, we united to take action online, at our workplaces, on informational picket lines and committed to striking if necessary for a strong agreement that ensures the best quality patient care. Meeting this requirement further proves that united, we will continue to win strong victories for healthcare workers in Colorado.

“This is great news for all of our Kaiser members. I’m proud of our members for standing up, and standing together, last year during contract negotiations, which is what made all of this possible. Unity works–don’t ever forget it.” – Ron Ruggiero, President, SEIU Local 105

As COVID-19 continues to affect our communities, families, and work every day, this important victory comes at a critical moment for our KP family at SEIU Local 105.

“Through COVID, quarantine, and social distancing, we still managed to hit our goals. Due to our hard work, we will be receiving a 3% cost of living increase this October. Thank you for allowing me to fight for you and alongside you in this powerful win!” – Darion Ross, KP 105 Bargaining Team Member
