Urban Peak workers are fighting for fair wages, better training, and a union! Together, we’re doing a PHONE ZAP on Thursday, July 13th to let the CEO know that it’s time to recognize the union and make Urban Peak better for everyone.
“Phone zapping” means that we’re all calling the CEO at the same time, to overwhelm Urban Peak with support for our union! Never participated in a phone zap? That’s OK! Here’s how it works:
1. Review the simple message:
“I believe Urban Peak workers deserve fair wages, better support and training in their jobs, and an end to the unsustainable turnover that negatively impacts the community. I’m calling to ask that you end your anti-union campaign and voluntarily recognize your workers’ union.”
2. Call 303-974-2900, extension 2932 (the phone number followed, by 2932 when the voice prompt begins), ideally between 11am and 2pm!
3. When connected, recite the message. Please don’t engage in argumentative language or try to have an extensive conversation. Keeping it short and simple is most effective!
